The TYN Summer Symposium is an event full of workshops and lectures about international politics. It is held every summer.
A fascinating programme all around on NGOs, the United Nations, International Conferences and how YOU can become active is offered to everyone aged 16 to 25.
Past Symposia have shown that participants learn a lot about the issues mentioned above. But maybe even more importantly, you will have a good opportunity to get in touch, not only with the speakers, but also with fellow participants. They usually come from various backgrounds and have different levels of experience. 
Objectives of the Summer Symposium
- Equip youth with applicable knowledge on ‘youth at the policy level’, ‘the impact of policy on grassroots’, ‘youth at the grassroots’ and ‘the impact of grassroots on policy’ through interactive workshops including those held by youth with experience and discussions in small groups
- llustrate how to take action on global and local issues through the sharing of experiences and transfer of relevant skills
- Provide the networking opportunity for youth with one another and professionals from a variety of disciplines and fields
- Encourage and enable information sharing and informal learning in a professional and multi-cultural setting
